    The City of Burnside has a responsibility to conserve and maintain this State Heritage listed park now and into the future. The draft Hazelwood Park Management Plan (HPMP) is a guide for how this conservation and maintenance will be undertaken.

    The existing CLMPs have been reviewed to ensure that each document is legislatively compliant and reflect Council’s current Policies, management practices, requirements and intentions as to the Community Land which they relate.

    As part of a new partnership between Council and St Peter’s Girls’ School, the School will undertake improvements to Bell Yett Reserve that include an upgrade to the public car park and additional maintenance to the eastern playing field. All of the planned works will be funded by the School, while ensuring the facilities remain available for use by the community.

    Council has developed a number of options for the community to consider.
