Council is exploring two potential locations for the Crossing; both are adjacent to Gurney Road below.

Both locations provide logical and safe crossing points for pedestrians.

Option 1

• Negligible impact for on-street parking.
• Pedestrians heading to/from Rose Park School will still be required to cross Gurney Road.

If this option is chosen, a provision for pedestrians on Gurney Road may be considered.

Option 2

• Loss of two on-street parking spaces.
• Students are not required to cross Gurney Road to access the school crossing on Grant Avenue.
• Drainage infrastructure will need to be relocated with this option; construction will take longer to complete.
