In September and October 2016 Council sought community advice and opinion on the long term planning of this playground. Council sought feedback on whether the existing equipment should be replaced, or if the playground should be removed and the space landscaped.

There was equal support for both options.

    What happens next?

Council has reviewed the feedback and will use it to guide future planning for the Reserve.

The responses provide clear information that can be used to make informed decisions on the changing community needs and experiences in the future.

The existing playground equipment will be removed and replaced with landscaping as part of this financial year's works.

Landscaping works are due to be completed by June 2017.
