Consultation has concluded

Waterproofing Eastern Adelaide is a multi-Council project funded by Commonwealth Government and Natural Resource Management Board to harvest and treat stormwater during winter, store in underground aquifers, and recover it for use in summer for irrigating open spaces. The Councils involved invite you to help design a water treatment site in Tusmore Park.

Tusmore Park Biofilter Concept

Below is a diagram of the biofilter location proposed for the northern end of Hanson Reserve, Tusmore Park, Tusmore. The diagram shows the proximity to the lawn space, a nearby significant tree and surrounding vegetation along the flood berm.

Have your say

Feedback on the proposal is currently being sought from interested stakeholders and surrounding residents.

Following receipt of stakeholder feedback, the design can be further progressed and a final design will be developed for ERA approval and final comment by interested and/or affected stakeholders.

Open Day

An Open Day has been arranged to provide more information, obtain and discuss your views on the proposal and identify enhancements to the proposal. The Open Day will be in Tusmore Park near the Scout Hall on Sunday 23 March from 11 am to 2 pm. No RSVP is necessary, just show up and participate.

*Consultation closing date has been extended one week (originally 9 am Monday 31 March).
