Update

The Asset Management Plans engagement welcomed community input on the plans. The plans are broken down into the following classes of infrastructure; transport, stormwater, buildings and recreation.

The Asset Management Plans were originally prepared in 2008, and were then updated at a later stage to include data such as current construction unit rates, revised quantities to reflect assets created or renewed and also simplified to a more understandable format. The plans reflect Council’s strategy on infrastructure renewal, basic maintenance strategies, and information such as asset age, inspection regimes and age based financial information.

The plans also document Council’s current service levels. The Asset Management Plans engagement concluded 4 February 2013 and the plans were endorsed.
