Background
In line with Council Resolution C11706 (copy attached under 'documents' to the right), this joint initiative, first raised in May 2018, seeks to resolve an administrative anomaly along the Local Government boundary between the City of Burnside (COB) and Adelaide Hills Council (AHC), specifically relating to land parcels on McBeath Drive.
Recent Developments
In late October 2025, Council was advised that the Commission approved an engagement and inquiry plan on 16 September 2025, with community consultation now underway.
Consultation and Next Steps
The Boundaries Commission has provided details that outline consultation activities tailored to the minor nature of the proposal, consistent with Commission guidelines. The consultation period runs from 29 October to 26 November 2025.
