Your thoughts on our Public Consultation Policy
Public consultation is now a way of life for local governments and our communities, as we seek the views and aspirations of our residents and ratepayers. This then helps Council’s Elected Members to determine the course and focus of their work so that it is always in line with the interests and wishes of our community.
Section 50 of the Local Government Act, 1999 requires that Council has a Public Consultation Policy and that interested persons be allowed to make submissions on the policy.
Council’s Public Consultation policy has been reviewed and revised and we now ask for your input.
