Proposed work
These works will involve the removal and replacement of the existing footpath/verge area with a new 1550mm wide brick paved footpath. The pavers are rectangular shaped in a claret/red colour.
During the works, the existing property stormwater pipes may be disconnected as excavations are undertaken to construct the footpath foundations. These pipes will be reconnected. The Resident Information Guide will provide more detail on how footpaths are installed.
Your existing gravel or hot mix driveway footpath crossing will also be replaced. If you are considering a new or significantly changed driveway to coincide with these works or a new property stormwater pipe, an approval from Council is required and Section 221 application form must be returned to Council.
To assist with these works please cut back any vegetation on your property overhanging the boundary before any construction starts.
If you wish to discuss in detail any changes to your driveway crossing, property stormwater pipe or footpath, please contact Andrew Strauss on 8366 4253 or 0438 404 945 or via the Email Us tab below.
Council’s paving contractor “Best Bricks and Pavers” will contact you 5 working days prior to commencing work in your street. This notice will include contact details for the works supervisor if you have any concerns during construction.
