*** UPDATE ***
At their meeting on 19 November 2024, the Council reviewed the results of this community engagement and resolved:
That Council:
1. Continues to provide the current CHSP services while CHSP continues to be funded by the Federal Government.
2. Does not expand its home maintenance, social support group and transport services to non-CHSP-funded residents due to the additional cost burden on ratepayers.
3. Notes the Future of Aged Care Roadmap for the City of Burnside (Attachment 1 to Report No: 2023-390), which aligns with the CEO KPI C1 for 2024/25 (Community - C1 - Develop a roadmap for the future of Aged Care Service delivery based on the Aged Care Business Case Review, community consultation, Aged Care Reforms and Home Support Program funding).
4. Receives relevant updates regarding aged care reforms via Information Documents.
