Consultation has concluded
Council is seeking feedback on a proposal for outdoor fitness equipment to be installed in Tusmore Park.
The opportunity
A suggestion to install a small outdoor fitness equipment station in Tusmore Park has been raised, and Council is seeking feedback to see if this is something that is supported by the community. The proposal is to install a small exercise station with 2-3 non-moving pieces of equipment on softfall. If the project is supported by the community, two locations within Tusmore Park have been identified. One is along Stirling Street in the southwest corner of the park, and the other is within a triangle of pathways near Rivington Grove just north of the tennis courts and toilet block. Please see the map below for more information.

Council would like to know if the proposal to install some exercise equipment within Tusmore Park is supported by the community, and if so, which location is preferred.
You can also complete the survey:

• as a hard copy (located in the document library on the right hand side of this page) and post to Council at City of Burnside, Reply Paid 9, Glenside SA 5065
• or email to burnside@burnside.sa.gov.au
Please respond prior to 5 pm on Friday 2 September 2022
When will works begin?
The results of this survey will be reviewed and, if the community is in favour to proceed, a landscape design will be produced. The results of the consultation and construction timeframes will be communicated to local residents before installation work commences. We anticipate works for this project to occur in 2023.
