Consultation has concluded
The Environment, Resources and Development Committee has resolved to conduct an inquiry into the urban forest.
The Committee will inquire into and report on:
Best practice and innovative measures to assist in the selection and maintenance of site appropriate tree species to improve the resilience of the urban forest, with a focus on trees for urban infill developments;
Legislative and regulatory options to improve the resilience and longevity of trees comprising the urban forest; and
The Environment, Resources and Development Committee has resolved to conduct an inquiry into the urban forest.
The Committee will inquire into and report on:
Best practice and innovative measures to assist in the selection and maintenance of site appropriate tree species to improve the resilience of the urban forest, with a focus on trees for urban infill developments;
Legislative and regulatory options to improve the resilience and longevity of trees comprising the urban forest; and
Any person or organisation who would like to provide a written submission or register an interest in presenting oral evidence to the Committee is invited to do so by close of business Friday 24 February 2023.
