BACKGROUND:

What does the future of Penfold Park, Magill, look like?

Council seeks to partner with the community to create a master plan to provide holistic direction for the future of Penfold Park that is strategic, evidenced- based and considers community feedback, current and future demographics, and emerging trends and community needs.

A master plan will ensure that future maintenance and development options of the park are sensitive, planned, purposeful and complementary.

It will also provide a basis for scheduling works in a financially sustainable way.

Background

Penfold Park consists of a large grassed area, large playground, small playground, rotunda, barbecue, picnic setting, two tennis / netball courts, off-street parking, an old wine press from the Penfold Winery and toilets.

The results of previous consultations on other matters identified that some residents around Penfold Park would like to seek improvements and upgrades to the park.
