About the playground
Bell Yett Reserve is located on Stonyfell Road, Wattle Park, and features two tennis courts, a basketball goal, open space for recreation, toilets, barbecue facilities and a small creek surrounded by native trees and vegetation. This reserve includes a biodiversity zone.

Council's Playground Strategy has prioritised a number of playgrounds within our City for upgrades in this financial year.
About the playground
Bell Yett Reserve is located on Stonyfell Road, Wattle Park, and features two tennis courts, a basketball goal, open space for recreation, toilets, barbecue facilities and a small creek surrounded by native trees and vegetation. This reserve includes a biodiversity zone.
Adjacent to the tennis courts is the playground with two swings and a slide surrounded by pine chip softfall.
The Playground Strategy identifies that this playground is for use by children in the 6 - 12 years age group.
Potential features
Council seeks your opinion on the features you would like in the playground. These include equipment for:
- swinging
- natural play
- rocking
- climbing
- sliding
- spinning
- balancing
- themed play
- interactive elements.
Council also wants to know what landscape features and amenities you would like at the playground.
Your responses to this survey will guide Council on how to proceed.

When will work begin?
The results of this survey will be reviewed and incorporated, where possible, into a draft landscape design. This design will then be presented to Council for their approval before work commences in early 2016.
What about the recent consultation on the Reserve?
The results of the community consultation on the proposal presented to Council by St Peter's Girls' School, is still under review in keeping with Council's policies and procedures.
Once finalised the proposal will be presented to Council for consideration taking into account the feedback from the community. All respondents to this consultation will be advised of the outcome.
