Council is upgrading this playground and seeks your feedback on what features you would like to see installed.
The opportunity
Council's Playground Strategy has prioritised a number of playgrounds within our City for upgrades in this financial year.
About the playground
Brock Reserve is located on Dashwood Road, Beaumont. Within the Reserve is a playground that features a swing set with one standard seat and one toddler seat, and a spring rocker. Surrounding the play area are open grassed areas with trees and surrounding garden beds.
The site has a steep slope going down into a drainage reserve.

Potential features
Council seeks your opinion on the features you would like in the playground. These include equipment for:
swinging
natural play
rocking
climbing
sliding
spinning
balancing
themed play
interactive elements.
Council also wants to know what landscape features and amenities you would like at the playground such as:
shade
seating
barbeque
gardens
drinking fountains.
Your responses to this survey will guide Council on how to proceed.

When will work begin?
The results of this survey will be reviewed and incorporated, where possible, into a draft landscape
design. This design will then be presented to Council for their approval before work commences in early 2016.
