Playground Upgrade - Eastwood Community Centre, Eastwood

Council is reviewing playgrounds within our City to align them with future community needs.

The opportunity

Council's Playground Replacement Action Plan 2014 - 2024 has identified a number of playgrounds within our City to be reviewed to consider their future use and the community needs for these spaces.

To assist in the long term planning for the redevelopment of our playgrounds, Council is seeking your advice on this playground and opinion on what equipment should be installed.

About the playground

This playground can be accessed at all times from Glen Osmond Road and Main Street, Eastwood.

The existing play equipment consists of a single swing, a toddler play platform with low cubby and slide, and a spring rocker on pine chip mulch.

Potential features

Council seeks your opinion on the features you would like in the playground. These include equipment for:

• swinging
• natural play
• rocking
• sliding
• spinning
• balancing
• climbing
• interactive elements
• themed play
• cubbies.

Your responses to this survey will guide Council on planning for future upgrades of the playground.
