Update

In September and October 2016 Council sought community advice and opinion on what equipment should be installed in the future.

The responses to the survey have guided Council on the redevelopment of the playground located in Glyde Street Reserve, Beulah Park.

Potential features

Council sought opinion on the potential features of the playground and the most popular responses for the upgrade included:

  • swinging
  • climbing
  • sliding.

What happens next?

In line with Council's Playground Replacement Action Plan 2014-2024 this playground has been reviewed; community needs and future use considered.

Council has reviewed the feedback and will be upgrading the playground equipment in this financial year. The works will involve the installation of a swing, rocker and a climbing cube with attached slide on rubber softfall.

It is anticipated that the works will be completed by June 2017.
