About the playground

The Langman Recreation Reserve is located between Waterfall Gully Road and Wyatt Road in Burnside. At the northern end of the reserve is a small playground aimed at children of all ages and consisting of a double swing set and two see-saws on pine chip mulch. At the southern end is a larger playground consisting of a double swing set, a nest swing, a double sphere rope climbing frame, a rocker, and a tree-themed play unit consisting of a rope climber, some steps and a slide. This playground is aimed at children 6-12 years and is also on pine chip softfall.

When will works begin?

The results of this survey will be reviewed and incorporated, where possible, into a landscape design for this play space. The results of the consultation and construction timeframes will be communicated to local residents before installation work commences. We anticipate works for this project will occur in the 2023-2024 financial year.
