Hewitt Avenue Reserve is an invaluable area of open space used by local people in Rose Park for a variety of purposes, and a pocket garden could complement these uses.
Give your feedback
Council seeks to understand how you currently use the reserve, and gain your feedback and opinions on the proposal.
Please fill in the survey below by 5 pm Friday 7 April 2023.
What happens next?
If the local community support this idea of an edible pocket garden, a working group consisting of residents and local community groups will assist Council to develop the concept design and also help to identify local people who might be interested in looking after the pocket garden once it is installed.
