Cedar Woods are proposing to change the Planning and Design Code in regard to building heights. Council is encouraging our community to have your say on this proposal. Council will also make a submission on this proposal.
Have your say on the proposal to change the maximum building height on 9,049 sqm of land located in the northwest corner of the Glenside development.
Overview:
Cedar Woods, the proponent, is proposing an amendment to the Planning and Design Code to increase permissible building heights from 8 to 20 levels within the Glenside development precinct. This allotment covers approximately 9,000m² of land adjacent to a large, landscaped reserve. The Glenside development is positioned on the corner of Fullarton and Greenhill Roads.
The height increase will support the development of gateway buildings, allowing the development to reach its full potential. The gateway buildings will be complementary to the surrounding neighbourhood development and maximise the benefits of the locality whilst bringing the visions of the 30 Year Plan for Greater Adelaide to life.
