A report was presented to Council on 18 June 2024 to consider feedback received on the trial. Council moved:
That Council:
1. Amends part 1 of the Council Resolution C270224/13630 made on 27 February 2024 in relation to part of Kensington Gardens Preschool - Dogs on-Leash Control to declare the trial dogs on-leash area and the times of operation be:
a. The area declared as a dog on-leash area is all land within the area bounded by red on Map 2, totalling approximately 7,840 square metres.
b. During school terms set by the South Australian Department for Education, the dog on-leash area will operate between 8 am and 9 am Monday to Thursday and 3 pm and 4 pm Monday to Thursday.
2. Amends the signage established for the trial to reflect the amendments to the dog on-leash trial in 1.a. and 1.b. above.
3. Receives a further report on the trial results in November 2024.

In response to requests from the community, Council will conduct a trial of a new dog on lead area in the north west corner of Kensington Wama for a seven month period, under limited times, from 1 April 2024*.
The trial dog on lead area on the corner of The Parade and West Terrace is all land within the area bound by red as outlined in the diagram below and will be effective 1 April 2024 to 13 December 2024, Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 4 pm, during school terms.
