Consultation has concluded

$35,000 is available to spend on projects in your neighbourhood.

Tell us how you would spend it to benefit the Burnside community.

Get ready to put on your thinking caps and release your inner project manager! Your Neighbourhood Budget (YNB) gives locals the power to propose their ideas for small capital projects in their city. Then, the community votes for their favourites, and boom! Council makes the magic happen.

YNB has been a hit since 2018/2019, with 33 awesome projects completed on a shoestring budget. Think little libraries, defibrillators, fresh gardens, and trees - and that's just the tip of the iceberg!

With YNB, everyday heroes can take charge of their neighbourhoods, bringing a little sunshine to their daily routines whilst boosting their neighbourhood pride. The Council works hand-in-hand with the community to tweak and refine their ideas before the voting stage, making it a true collaboration. Let's build better neighbourhoods, together!
