Regal Theatre Accessibility Workshop
Consultation has concluded
*****UPDATE*****
Council partnered with JFA Purple Orange to deliver a community workshop exploring the accessibility needs of people attending the Regal Theatre who have a disability. The workshop aimed to assist the Council with the detailed design phase of the Regal Theatre Master Plan, ensuring it includes opportunities for accessibility and functional improvements to the interior of the building and plaza.
The diverse group of attendees offered valuable feedback, providing the Council and architects with concrete considerations for the detailed design. The feedback from the workshop will be considered as part of the development of the detailed design.
If you wish to discuss this further please contact Talitha McDougall, Council's Strategic Projects Officer, on 8366 4200 or email: burnside@burnside.sa.gov.au

Background
The Regal Theatre, owned and managed by City of Burnside, is a heritage listed iconic attraction in our community.
After finalising its future concept plan, we are ready to move to detailed design. Importantly the detailed design phase includes opportunities for accessibility and functional improvements to the interior of the building and plaza.
We want to hear from our community members living with disabilities, their families, and supporters with lived experience. Your input is invaluable in creating an enjoyable experience for everyone who visits The Regal.
