Consultation has concluded

** UPDATE **

The Tregenza Oval Master Plan was endorsed by Council on 27 July 2021. Phase 1 items will start to be implemented from 2021/22.

BACKGROUND:

Tregenza Oval is a reserve that features a large sporting oval catering to rugby, clubrooms, a playground and parking.

Adjacent to the oval is 31 Laurel Avenue, now being redeveloped as a community garden, as well as a triangular portion of land that incorporates the made road section of Laurel Avenue that is soon to be closed (see map for locations).

Some projects are already underway at Tregenza Oval precinct including the development of the community garden and the closure of the Laurel Avenue 'made road'.

There are also other opportunities for the future use of the triangle portion of land, as well as the oval (when not in use by the rugby club) and oval surrounds.

Council wants to ensure that this community space is being put to its best use and is seeking suggestions on how the community would like these sections of the reserve to be used.

COME AND HAVE YOUR SAY:

Tregenza Oval Master Plan information session scheduled for Thursday 26 November has been cancelled.
