Background
Primarily used for cricket and rugby, there is a small fenced playground located in the South west corner of the reserve. The playground and fencing are in poor condition and have been identified as in need of replacement.
Council’s Playground Strategy states that the playground is of a local scale and should meet the needs of the immediate local community. The playground is primarily designed to cater for younger children.
Next Steps
Council will review the responses and develop a concept design that will incorporate community feedback. It is anticipated that construction of the playground and landscape will occur in early 2014.
