Consultation has concluded
You are invited to assist Council in ensuring that the new Urban Tree Strategy, that replaces the current Tree Management Strategy, fulfils the community’s expectations and desires for the future management of one of Council’s most important assets.
The management of our City’s trees is a highly successful aspect of Council’s function, but community expectations and demands are continually rising. Managing these important assets on your behalf is becoming increasingly more difficult and complex.
The draft Urban Tree Strategy 2014-2025 provides the foundation of how Council will continue to enrich and enliven our neighbourhood’s character and amenity through the continued management of one of our most valuable assets, now and for future generations.
Council are asking you to have your say on how our City’s trees will be managed in the future by completing a survey. The responses from the survey will be reviewed and collated and then presented in a report to Council that highlights where any appropriate changes may be required to the draft document.
It is anticipated that the report will be presented to Council at its meeting of 13 May 2014.

You are invited to have your say regarding the draft Urban Tree Strategy and the future management of trees by completing the survey below by 5 pm Monday 21 April 2014.
