Council is seeking community feedback on the proposed Glenunga Reserve Master Plan.
Council has a vision for Glenunga Reserve as being a key ‘community hub’ where people of all ages can gather to experience a range of high class sport, recreation and community activities.
At the 14 May 2013 Council meeting, the visionary draft Glenunga Reserve Master Plan was endorsed to proceed to further Community Consultation. After receiving significant positive feedback from the initial city-wide community consultation, a cost effective proposal has been produced that better reflects the needs of our community.
Glenunga Reserve is already well patronised by the local community and resident sporting clubs. The proposal aims to improve and expand upon our current facilities to create additional opportunities for community involvement. Council Administration will endeavour to minimise any inconvenience caused by construction at the site on community groups and residents.
